Turnagain Gallery is located in Bird Creek, Alaska, at mile marker 100 of the Seward Highway, 18 miles south of Anchorage. Our art gallery features Alaskan Artwork from over 35 different Alaskan Artists. The gallery is a family business operated by Greg and Wendy Anderson and their two sons, Jason and Jordan. All 4 are artists that sell their work in the gallery.
Greg Anderson is an owner of Alaska Log Structures. His company built our gallery and continues to build and restore log homes throughout Alaska (alaskalogstructures.com). Greg also makes custom live edge tables and artistic wood furnishings from local spruce and red cedar, as well as redwood from the Pacific NW.
Wendy Anderson is an owner and manager of the gallery. She is also an experienced metal smith and makes some of the beautiful handmade jewelry you'll find here.
Jason Anderson continues to work with Greg (dad) building log homes. Jason does some part time chainsaw carving. He is the creator of the Beer bear (a wood carved bear with a bottle opener). He is also our web site designer and social media manager.
Jordan Anderson is an award winning professional chainsaw carver and you see his masterpieces both inside and outside the gallery. He has competed in competitions around the world, winning the National Championship in 2014 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
