Turnagain Gallery is located in Bird Creek, Alaska, at mile marker 100 of the Seward Highway, 18 miles south of Anchorage. Our art gallery features Alaskan Artwork from over 35 different Alaskan Artists. The gallery is a family business operated by Greg and Wendy Anderson and their two sons, Jason and Jordan. All 4 are artists that sell their work in the gallery.
Greg Anderson is a long time log home builder and built our gallery and other log homes in Alaska (alaskalogstructures.com). Greg makes custom live edge tables and artistic wood furnishings from local spruce and red cedar, as well as redwood from the Pacific NW. Greg also makes custom live edge countertops, bars, vanities, and fireplace mantles.
Wendy Anderson is an experienced metal smith and makes handmade jewelry. She also manages Turnagain Gallery. Check out her one-of-a-kind jewelry here.
Jason Anderson learned log home building and stone masonry from his father Greg. Jason also makes chainsaw sculptures, live edge coffee tables and desks, wood wine racks, planters, and more. Jason also is the web site designer and social media manager for our companies Turnagain Gallery and Alaska Log Structures.
Jordan Anderson is a professional chainsaw carver and you see his masterpieces both inside our gallery and outside while driving by our gallery on the Seward Highway. Jordan has been a chainsaw carver for 15 years and has been to professional competitions around the world and won the National Championship in 2014 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
